About
Arno Brändle,
born in 1966, has been teaching at Oberschule Eschen in the Principality of
Liechtenstein since 1989. He started with suggestopedia in 1994. Since 1999 he
has trained teachers from more than a dozen countries.
Beside his school activities he worked for the Bureau of Youth Affairs of the
Principality of Liechtenstein as an advisor and consultant for social and
psychological matters. He is also an advisor in the board of the biggest
organisation for adult education in the Principality. For many years he has
been engaged in trainings for apprentices at the Chamber of Commerce in
Liechtenstein. Arno Brändle was the responsible expert for Module 1 "NL
Background" and Module 5 “Teacher Survival Camp” in the
Comenius Project “Neues Lernen - Train the Trainer”. The first
Comenius “Teacher Survival Camp” was held in
Gödöllö/Hungary in July 2008.
From 2006 to 2008 he attended three seminars at the Int. School for Holocaust
Studies at Yad Vashem in Jerusalem. The first outside-classroom-project was the
organisation of the Yad Vashem exhibition “No Child’s Play”
in several Schools all over Liechtenstein and Vorarlberg/Austria. Since April
2008 he has been representing the newly founded group of teachers at the
board of the “Friends of Yad Vashem Liechtenstein”.
